Jordanian patrols in recreation areas to penalize carelessness

Khaberni - Minister of Environment Ayman Sulaiman said on Monday that patrols will be deployed in all recreation areas to enforce the law and take necessary actions against those littering in public places, coinciding with the start of the spring season and the increase in the number of visitors.

Sulaiman added that the ministry will conduct educational programs with visitors during the recreation period, to encourage them to maintain cleanliness, and will also distribute waste bags, according to Al Mamlaka.

He pointed out that entertainment programs for children will accompany the educational activities at the recreation sites, noting that the ministry is working to ensure that visitors enjoy the atmosphere.

He explained that the recreation areas will be cleaned and waste removed regularly, especially before the end of the week, emphasizing that adherence to the law is a fundamental element in maintaining the cleanliness of public, tourist, religious, and recreational places.
