Industrial Producers Prices Decreased by 264 for Last February

Khaberni - The General Statistics Department released its monthly report on the general index of industrial producers' prices, which recorded a decrease in the prices of industrial producers for the first two months of 2026 by (2.73%) compared to the same period in 2025.

On a monthly basis, the general index of industrial producers' prices decreased by (2.64%) for the month of February compared with the corresponding month in 2025, noting that the base year is (2018=100).

The index for industrial producers' prices for the first two months of 2026 amounted to 104.11 compared to 107.04 for the same period in 2025.

On a monthly level, the index for the month of February 2026 amounted to 104.21 compared to 107.04 for the same month in 2025, and compared to 104.02 for January of the current year.

At the level of the groups forming the general framework of the index for industrial producers' prices, and comparing the first two months of 2026 with the same period in 2025, the prices of "manufacturing industries" decreased by (3.43%) and their relative importance is 88.74%, while the prices of "extractive industries" increased by 4.96% and their relative importance is 5.36%, and the prices of "electricity" by 1.18% which have a relative importance of 5.91%.

When comparing the index for February 2026 with the same month in 2025, there is a noticeable decrease in prices of "manufacturing industries" by (3.25%) and their relative importance is 88.74%, while the prices of "extractive industries" increased by 3.24% and their relative importance is 5.36%, and the prices of "electricity" by 1.36% which have a relative importance of 5.91%.

On a monthly change scale, the general index of industrial producers' prices for February 2026 increased compared to January which preceded in 2026 due to an increase in prices of "manufacturing industries" by 0.37% and their relative importance is 88.74%, and prices of "electricity" by 0.35% which have a relative importance of 5.91%, while the prices of "extractive industries" decreased by (3.22%) and their relative importance is 5.36%.
