Khaberni - Car wash station owners in the Jordanian capital Amman are demanding an increase in washing service fees, due to rising operating costs, especially for materials like shampoo, polishes, and paper, in addition to rising water prices.
A circulated memo among car wash owners calls for standardizing prices according to a specific list, emphasizing that continuing with the current prices is causing losses, necessitating a collective stance to ensure ongoing operations.
According to the proposed list, prices for washing small cars range from 4 dinars, while large cars are charged 5 dinars, with higher prices set for full wash (jack) services and buses, along with additional services such as spraying and cleaning.
Car wash owners stress the necessity of collective compliance with this pricing, emphasizing the importance of uniting efforts to face the increasing challenges in the sector.
