Jordan Abu AlSamn confirms accelerating the implementation of economic modernization projects and addressing obstacles immedi

Khaberni - Maher Abu Al-Samn, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, chaired a meeting on Sunday at the ministry's headquarters, attended by the Director General of the Government Tenders Department and the Secretary-General of the Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Abdulaziz Dyabat, and the directors of the relevant departments to follow up on the implementation of the executive program for the vision of economic modernization phase two (2026-2029).

The progress of work on the projects listed in the executive program was reviewed, as well as the achieved completion rates, in addition to the major challenges and obstacles facing the execution, where the minister directed the immediate handling of these obstacles and the provision of practical solutions to ensure the continuity of work without delay.

During the meeting, Abu Al-Samn emphasized the importance of adhering to the project timelines, stressing the need to enhance coordination between the various ministry units and partner entities to ensure efficient achievement of governmental targets.

The minister pointed out that the ministry is committed to enhancing the direct monitoring of performance indicators, in line with government directions to accelerate the implementation of infrastructure and housing projects, and to achieve a tangible impact that reflects on improving the quality of services provided to citizens.

He also emphasized the importance of integration with the Performance Monitoring Unit at the Prime Minister's office, to ensure the accuracy of reports and their alignment with the targets of the economic modernization vision,
This meeting is part of a series of periodic meetings held by the ministry to follow up on the implementation of its strategic projects, and to ensure the achievement of developmental goals associated with the public works and housing sector.
