After a 40day closure AlAqsa Mosque reopens to worshippers

Khaberni - The Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem announced at dawn on Thursday, that Al-Aqsa Mosque would be reopened to worshippers without restrictions starting from the Fajr prayer.

This decision comes after a forced closure imposed by the Israeli occupation on the mosque for 40 consecutive days, under the pretext of an "emergency" and security situations.
During the closure, the occupation authorities tightened their military measures in the surroundings of the mosque and the old town, obstructing worshippers' access by setting up barriers and closing the main doors.
