Khaberni - The "Wall Street Journal" quoted mediators and a source familiar with the ceasefire talks between America and Iran as saying that "Israel was not an official part of the negotiations and was only informed about reaching the agreement at a late stage, which caused its dissatisfaction."
According to an official in the White House, the extent of consultation was limited to a call made by President Donald Trump to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just before the announcement of the agreement, in which the latter agreed to join the ceasefire.
The mediators pointed out that Israeli officials had reservations about the terms of the agreement, especially concerning the inclusion of Lebanon in it, as Israel considers Iran and Lebanon to be separate arenas.
