Trump sets US representatives for the upcoming negotiations with Iran in Pakistan

Khaberni - US President Donald Trump announced that the negotiations with Iran will be held very soon in Pakistan with the participation of special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Trump mentioned that the participation of his deputy JD Vance is possible for security considerations.

In an interview with the New York Post, Trump said: "Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will represent us. Maybe JD, I don't know. It's a security matter."

The American president emphasized that the negotiations with Iran in Pakistan are expected to happen "very soon."

On the night of April 8, the US President announced an agreement with Iran for a ceasefire lasting two weeks.

Later, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, which represents about 20% of the world's oil supplies, petroleum products, and liquefied natural gas.
