New Details About the American Pilots Whose Plane Was Shot Down in Iran

Khaberni - "The New York Times" reported that the American pilots whose F-15 plane was shot down over Iran were successfully rescued in two separate operations and transferred to Germany for medical treatment.

The newspaper mentioned that the plane's pilot was quickly recovered, while the rescue of the weapons systems officer took a two-day search operation conducted by US special operations forces in a high-risk mission.

President Donald Trump, through his platform "Truth Social," confirmed that the rescued officer was wounded but is expected to recover, noting that the rescue forces did not record any human loss during the operation.

The story of the rescue of the American pilot began after Iran shot down an F-15 plane last Friday, and America managed to rescue the first pilot from the aircraft crew on the same day. The fate of the second pilot remained uncertain until America announced his rescue on Sunday morning.

"Reuters" reported on Friday that two Black Hawk helicopters involved in the search operation were hit by Iranian fire, but they managed to exit the Iranian airspace.

In another incident, officials reported on Friday that an American A-10 Warthog fighter plane was hit, leading to its crash over Kuwait and the pilot ejecting from it.
