Khaberni - US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that negotiations with Tehran are going "well," considering that "it is not easy to reach the finish line with the Iranians."
President Trump claimed that the United States and Iran were, days ago, on the verge of reaching an agreement to conduct direct negotiations.
Trump added: "They then said they would meet us after 5 days.. Why 5 days? I felt they were not serious, so I ordered the destruction of the bridge," referring to the strike that was carried out on Wednesday, targeting a bridge linking Tehran and northern Iran.
He continued: "We will destroy all the power stations in Iran if the country's leaders do not agree to reopen the Strait of Hormuz by Tuesday evening," threatening that if Tehran does not respond, "they will lose every power station and facility they have in entire Iran."
