Khaberni - An organization specializing in the search for the missing reported that during search operations, it found the remains of at least 14 people in the city of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, northern Mexico.
The search organization "Amor por los desaparecidos" stated in its announcement: "In coordination with the Tamaulipas Public Security Secretariat, the group was discovered in Colonia Puerta Sur, Reynosa, Tamaulipas, which included human skeletal remains of at least 14 individuals."
According to the organization, the human remains were discovered scattered and buried in an area of about 500 square meters, along with signs of what is called an "underground kitchen" where the bodies were subjected to high temperatures.
Following the discovery of the human remains, the Public Prosecutor's Office began work in the area and started collecting these remains and identifying them through forensic methods.
The authorities requested the families who have lost members to contact the Public Prosecutor's Office to provide genetic samples to verify if there is a kinship relation to the remains found.
