AlIssawi Receives AlDabbas and Reviews the Tourism Reality Amidst the Current Crisis

Khaberni -  The chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Yusuf Al-Issawi, received today Mr. Hani Al-Dabbas, Vice President of the Jordanian Hotel Association and a member of the Tourism Promotion Authority. The meeting provided an in-depth analysis of the current state of the tourism sector, along with the surrounding challenges, and promising opportunities that require joint efforts and the utilization of available potential. Al-Issawi listened to various aspects of the current tourism situation and discussed how to work towards minimizing the impacts of the regional crisis on the sector and its employees.

The meeting is part of a collaborative approach that reflects the Royal Court’s commitment to direct engagement with representatives of vital sectors. It featured discussions on the major obstacles facing the tourism sector, along with practical solutions aimed at enhancing its resilience and sustainability, aligned with the importance of this sector as a main contributor to the national economy.

Al-Dabbas expressed his deep appreciation for the chief of the Royal Hashemite Court for the warm reception at (the Home of Jordanians), affirming that this meeting truly embodies the directives of King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, and His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, in enhancing direct communication with the citizens, closely examining challenges, and working as one team to transform these challenges into real opportunities for growth and development.

He confirmed that this meeting responds to calls that this phase requires more joint efforts and innovative visions, which will enhance Jordan’s position as a leading tourist destination, capable of adapting to changes and achieving sustainable development.
