Khaberni - The King Abdullah II Fund for Development has started preparations to launch the fifteenth session of the Civil Service Development Project, by addressing the ministries, institutions, and government agencies to nominate targeted personnel and conduct necessary interviews in preparation to announce the results.
The General Director of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, Dr. Samer Al-Mifleh, said: "The project is in line with the contents of the public sector modernization roadmap and complements its goals, reflecting the role of the fund as an institutional umbrella supporting national efforts to enhance the efficiency of human resources in the public sector.
He added that the project aims to invest in human resource development and enhance leadership skills, alongside supporting the sustainability of government institutions development and improving the work environment, which positively reflects on the quality of services provided to citizens".
The project targets public sector employees, aiming to enhance their efficiency and boost their leadership and administrative capabilities, contributing to building a more effective and flexible public sector. 20 male and female employees from various ministries and government institutions will be selected after completing assessment procedures and passing all stages of the selection and approved interviews, thus ensuring the attraction of the most qualified talents and the optimal investment in human capabilities.
The project is implemented through specialized training programs aimed at developing skills and enhancing the institutional work environment, and establishing concepts of modern leadership and institutional work based on efficiency and achievement. It relies on an integrated training program executed in collaboration with the British 'Inspirational Group' institution. It includes three training stages, with two held inside Jordan, focusing on administrative skills, policy formation, and artificial intelligence tools for leaders. The third stage is implemented at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, focusing on developing leadership skills through practical applications that enhance decision-making ability and functioning within high-performance teams.
Conditions include that the candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree, hold a leadership position in middle management supervising a team, possess proficiency in English, and have the ability to travel abroad, ensuring the participants' readiness to benefit from the various program stages. The nomination process is carried out through institutions.
Since its launch, the project has conducted 14 training courses, benefiting 337 employees, with 147 participants reaching leadership positions, indicating the program's impact on developing government competencies and enhancing their career pathways.
