The Jordan Engineers Association highly values the firm and clear positions led by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, in defending the Palestinian cause and protecting the holy sites in Jerusalem, and his absolute rejection of any attempts to liquidate the issue or bypass the rights of the Palestinian people.
The Association also appreciates the recent discussions about His Majesty's rejection to meet with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a stance that reflects Jordan's commitment to not providing any political or diplomatic cover for the occupation's policies, and affirms that Jordan's position is steadfast and principled, clearly linking any political process with achieving a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, ensuring the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on its national territory with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Association also strongly condemns the ongoing violations committed by the Israeli occupation authorities against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, including repeated intrusions, the imposition of arbitrary restrictions on the entry of worshippers, and the prevention of religious ceremonies, in a systematic attempt to impose a new reality on the Islamic and Christian holy sites in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
Furthermore, the Association categorically rejects the escalatory policies and measures pursued by the occupation government, including the enactment of extremist punitive legislations, notably the death penalty for Palestinian prisoners, a dangerous precedent that legitimates the commission of new massacres under the guise of law.
The Association also condemns the campaigns of suppression, arrests, and daily assaults against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, which represent a blatant violation of all international laws and treaties, and embody a racist approach based on killing, destruction, and organized terrorism.
Furthermore, the Association confirms that the Israeli war machine's continued aggression in Gaza, and the serious escalation in the West Bank, reveal the reality of the occupational project based on enforcing de facto policies through military force.
The Association also reiterates its full support for the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle, calling on the international community to fulfill its legal and humanitarian responsibilities, to immediately stop these violations, and to work earnestly towards ending the occupation and enabling the Palestinian people to achieve their full and unabridged rights.
At the same time, the Association calls for the unification of official and popular efforts to support the resilience of the Palestinians, and to enhance the Arab and international movements supporting their just cause, in the face of the occupation policies that threaten the security and stability of the entire region.
