Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that his army destroyed 70% of Iran's steel production capabilities, following the announcement that the two largest manufacturers in Iran had halted their operations after Israeli-American strikes.
Netanyahu said in a video published by his office: "Over the past few days, the air force has destroyed 70% of Iran's steel production capabilities. This is an astonishing result that deprives the Revolutionary Guard of financial resources and at the same time the ability to produce many weapons."
He added: "In full coordination with President (American Donald) Trump, we will continue to crush Iran."
The two largest steel manufacturers in Iran announced on Thursday that their production lines had stopped, following the strikes targeting them.
The "Mobarakeh" steel company in the central province of Isfahan and the Khuzestan company in southwestern Iran were subjected to repeated attacks last week.
