Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi received on Tuesday, the German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Reem Al-Abali-Radovan, in a meeting that discussed ways to enhance economic, investment, and developmental cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the regional situations, their implications, and the efforts exerted towards them.

‏Safadi and Al-Abali-Radovan affirmed the importance of continuing to expand cooperation programs between the Kingdom and Germany in vital sectors including water and vocational training.

‏Safadi appreciated the ongoing support provided by Germany for development projects in Jordan, and for assistance in dealing with the consequences of regional crises.

Safadi and Al-Abali-Radovan also discussed the efforts made to end the war with Iran, and the restoration of security and stability in the region on the principles that ensure security, stability, respect for international law, and good neighborliness, and they emphasized the importance of activating diplomacy as a means to end the escalation and protect regional and international peace and security.

Safadi reviewed the situation in Gaza and the occupied West Bank and stressed the necessity of concerted efforts to stop the illegitimate Israeli measures that undermine the two-state solution and efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region.
