Khaberni - Channel "12" reported that hundreds of Israelis are stranded at Aqaba Airport after flights from the said airport were cancelled.
According to the channel, Israel expressed its surprise at Jordan's decision not to allow flights that had previously been closed to take off, while discussions are currently underway between specialized and security officials from both the Israeli and Jordanian sides, in an attempt to reach an immediate solution.

Previously, an Israeli report revealed that the Israeli airline "Arkia" announced that it would move most of its operations to the Aqaba and Taba airports, while the company "El Al" called for opening Ramon Airport as a complementary alternative to "Ben Gurion".
