Khaberni - The spokesperson for the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, Ahmed Al-Nuaimat, urged citizens not to panic and to stop the indiscriminate rush to purchase and unreasonably stockpile, reaffirming that the situation is under control and does not warrant any concern.

Al-Nuaimat emphasized, in statements on Sunday evening, the importance of not storing petroleum products and fuel at homes or places not designated for that purpose, due to the danger it poses to public safety.

He explained that the center, since the inception of tensions in the Middle East, has activated its contingency plans in coordination with ministries, pertinent agencies, and various sectors, including managing strategic stocks of food, medicine, and energy, as well as ensuring the continuity of supply chains for various goods.

Al-Nuaimat clarified that no deaths have been recorded due to objects falling since the start of the war, thanks to the efficiency and professionalism of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security apparatuses. He noted that losses were limited to some minor injuries and limited material damage.

He confirmed that the Crisis Management Center has comprehensive plans, in coordination with various ministries, institutions, and sectors, to deal with the course of tensions in the Middle East and its potential developments.

He indicated that Jordanian sectors have proven their sustainability and effectiveness during the tensions experienced in the Middle East, whether in this current stage or during previous crises.
