Government No Remote Education Currently

Khaberni -  The government spokesperson and Minister of Government Communication, Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani, confirmed that the option of remote education or remote work is not currently on the table, urging citizens not to pay attention to circulating rumors about this matter.

Al-Momani clarified in today's statements, Sunday, that any decisions regarding switching the work pattern will be officially announced by the government through the approved channels.

He emphasized the importance of obtaining information from its official sources, confirming that the government is monitoring developments as they happen, and any measure to be taken will be based on a careful assessment of the circumstances and in the public interest.

He said that the current phase requires a high degree of media and community responsibility, pointing out that "a very few are seeking to gain more views and likes at the expense of truth, accuracy, and professionalism," asserting that in these conditions, the essence is the cohesion of everyone to achieve the public good.

He explained that the kingdom's stock of basic goods is within normal rates, and that market supply operations are ongoing, indicating that the government has activated land crossings to ensure the continued flow of goods to the markets.

He added that maintaining a normal consumption pattern by citizens is an important factor in market stability and price control, emphasizing that there is no need for consumers to rush for goods as quantities are available and supply is continuous.

Al-Momani indicated that the government is dealing with developments transparently, asserting that transparency will be the hallmark of dealing with the crisis, and that the state has long-term plans to deal with various potential scenarios.

Regarding price rises or monopoly attempts, the minister stressed that exploiting the conditions to manipulate prices is considered an economic crime and the law will be applied against perpetrators, explaining that regulatory agencies are monitoring the stock and the prices in the field, and that the government has decided to support the civilian and military consumption institutions to regulate prices in the market.

He noted that the Prime Minister is briefed daily on reports from official bodies related to economic and logistical situations, asserting that coordination among government institutions is ongoing around the clock to ensure stability in all sectors.

In the same context, Al-Momani pointed out that the end of the current war is unclear so far, asserting that Jordanian diplomacy continues its efforts to push towards de-escalation, dialogue, and resorting to the diplomatic track.
