Khaberni - The head of the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament, Ibrahim Azizi, sent a message from Kharg Island, Iran, confirming that the security of the Strait of Hormuz and the regional countries will be achieved only with the departure of foreigners.
The statements of the Iranian official, today Saturday, came on the sidelines of a visit by several members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament (Islamic Consultative Assembly) to Kharg Island.
Azizi added to the "IRNA" agency: "Kharg Island is one of the unique economic opportunities and the front line of the Iranian oil industry."
He continued: "Kharg Island is a symbol of the prowess of the oil industry and resilience, and securing the waterway of the Persian Gulf and the neighboring countries will not be achieved except with the departure of foreigners."
The head of the National Security Committee added: "The enemies thought in their delusion that they could, through threats, intimidation, and psychological warfare, inflict any damage, however minor, on the experts of this industry. However, not only did the threatening actions of the Zionist entity and America not cause any disruption in the course of activities, but the oil industry has shown its readiness for storage, loading, and selling operations more prepared than ever before."
