Khaberni - Israeli Army Radio announced on Saturday that 9 soldiers, including two officers, were injured due to missile fire from southern Lebanon.
The station reported that 7 soldiers and two officers were injured due to missile fire targeted at them from southern Lebanon.
The radio did not clarify if the injuries were due to the missiles' impact or their interception.
Meanwhile, the private Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" quoted an unnamed army spokesperson saying: "An officer was seriously wounded, and another officer was moderately wounded, due to the firing of an anti-tank missile during a skirmish in southern Lebanon."
The spokesperson added: "In another incident that occurred overnight, an officer was seriously injured, and six soldiers were moderately wounded due to missile fire in southern Lebanon."
He noted that "the injured were evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital, and their families have been notified."
This comes as Israel imposes strict censorship and significant suppression on its real losses from the fall or interception of missiles and drones launched by Iran or "Hezbollah," hence the announced figures are likely to rise.
