Khaberni - Netflix revealed the release date of the movie "Thrash", which is a horror and survival work taking place after a destructive hurricane unleashes starving sharks in a coastal town
Netflix platform announced the release date of the movie "Thrash", which belongs to the horror, thriller, and survival genre, combining natural disasters and the peril of sharks in an exciting experience for fans of this type of work.
The platform's official account on "X" site disclosed that the film would premiere on Friday, April 10, 2026, exclusively on the global platform, with a promotional campaign focusing on the tense atmosphere of the work.
The events of the movie take place in a coastal town in South Carolina, where the residents face a Category 5 hurricane that leads to the collapse of dams and the flooding of the area with sea water, revealing the starving sharks and escalating the danger, putting the characters in a battle for survival.
The work is written and directed by Tommy Workola, and the film's star Phoebe Dynevor expressed her excitement about the experience, noting that filming the labor scenes concurrent with the hurricane and facing the sharks was a significant challenge, especially with the filming in cold winter conditions in outdoor water tanks.
