Khaberni - Artist Fares Al Halw has settled the controversy surrounding his acting retirement with a sarcastic response on «Instagram», confirming the continuation of his artistic career despite the circulating rumors.
Syrian artist Fares Al Halw has put an end to recent rumors about his acting retirement after social media posts claimed he had decided to stop working in the arts for health reasons.
Al Halw responded to these reports sarcastically by reposting the circulated news image on his "Instagram" story feature, captioning it with "untrue news," before commenting: "I wonder who we annoyed," indicating his displeasure with the spread of false information.
The rumor had suggested that he was unable to keep up with filming schedules and had retired from the field after participating in the series «Mawlana», which the artist has categorically denied.
This controversy coincides with Al Halw’s return to Syrian drama after years of absence, through the character «Colonel Kifah» in the series «Mawlana», where he delivered a notable performance that was praised by audiences.
The role was characterized by a complex nature combining sternness and psychological depth, with the presence of some comedic touches that audiences have come to expect from his previous works, reminding them of his distinctive characters in «Ahlaam Abu Al Hana» and «Maraya».
