Khaberni - Special
Contractors held a general assembly meeting today that was postponed from last Friday at the entrance of the syndicate, due to the closure of the headquarters, according to a letter from the governor of the capital.
The head of the contractors, Fouad Al-Duwairi, said that the general assembly meeting is ongoing, with a date to be determined later by the syndicate council.
He added to Khaberni that the general assembly meeting of the syndicate was scheduled for today, after being postponed from last week due to the lack of a quorum.
Since the second meeting was with those who attended, according to Al-Duwairi, the meeting was postponed to this day, March 27.
He stated that he received a letter from the governor of the capital on Thursday, which did not approve holding the meeting today, which led him to inform the general assembly to postpone their meeting until further notice.
Al-Duwairi expressed his regret for the meeting, which he described as "non-legal," held outside the syndicate's headquarters, affirming that the meeting is ongoing and its date will be determined later.
Members of the general assembly held a meeting on Friday morning in which they made a series of decisions described by observers as "illegal," including "withdrawal of confidence" from the head and members of the council.
