Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II received, on Thursday, a phone call from the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani.
During the call, His Majesty emphasized the necessity of an immediate cessation of the ongoing war and respect for the sovereignty of states, affirming that Jordan is committed to taking the necessary measures to protect its citizens, security, and sovereignty.
His Majesty stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable calm that restores stability to the region.
It was also emphasized the need for coordination between the Jordanian and Iraqi governments and the private sector in both countries to overcome obstacles and facilitate trade movement, serving the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.
