Khaberni - Álvaro Arbeloa, the Spanish Real Madrid coach, confirmed on Saturday, that he has "utmost confidence" in the French star Kylian Mbappe before the derby against Atlético Madrid.
Mbappe has returned from a knee sprain as a substitute against Manchester City on Tuesday after missing five matches, and Arbeloa said he is excited about the striker's return to full fitness, alongside the return of the English international Jude Bellingham to full fitness.
Arbeloa told reporters: I have already told you that the day Mbappe returns, he will be at one hundred percent.
He continued: I believe that the minutes we saw him in Manchester, and with the few short sprints he made, each showed that he is in great physical condition, and above all, it's about how he feels himself.
The capital city's coach added: We have the highest degree of confidence, the highest degree of reassurance, and the highest degree of enthusiasm for the return of a player like him, decisive and at one hundred percent readiness.
Mbappe is the top scorer for Real Madrid this season, with 38 goals in 34 matches in various competitions.
Arbeloa said he is happy about the French national team's call-up of Mbappe for two friendly matches against Brazil and Colombia next week in the United States.
Real Madrid is second in La Liga with 66 points from 28 matches, four points behind their rival Barcelona in the lead, while Atlético has 57 points in fourth place.
Real Madrid will be missing the services of Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who will be out for several weeks due to a thigh injury, but Arbeloa said he trusts his substitute Andriy Lunin.
