Khaberni - The identity of a former star in the Premier League who was arrested during a drug raid was revealed.
According to the British newspaper "The Sun", the arrested star is the former English defender Neil Clement, who shone with West Bromwich Albion and Chelsea.
The newspaper added that Neil Clement was detained in the tourist city of Mijas, Spain during a security operation targeting a location suspected of illegal activity.
The police raided a site said to be a drug-selling club, after monitoring a customer leaving the premises with drugs in his possession.
Subsequently, the site was stormed, and quantities of drugs and cash were seized before Clement was led away in handcuffs.
Clement later appeared in court, where the judge decided to release him on bail, with investigations continuing in the case.
It is noted that Clement is 47 years old and is the son of former international player Dave Clement.
