Khaberni - US Secretary of War Pete Heigseth announced today, Thursday, that there is no "timeframe" to end the ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran, which has continued for 3 weeks, after his department requested an additional $200 billion to fund that war.
Heigseth told reporters, "We do not want to set a specific timeframe," adding that "things are on the right track" and that President Donald Trump "will decide when the war stops. The final decision is in his hands. We have achieved what we needed."
In an implicit response to the American domestic voices opposing the war, the US Secretary said, "Most of the media wants Americans to believe we are heading into a maze or quagmire, but we will not stop until we complete the mission in Iran, and the sacrifices of our soldiers make our commitment stronger."
Regarding what the US-Israeli strikes on Iran achieved, he said, "Iran is a sprawling country and has diverted state resources to manufacture missiles and drones. We struck over 7,000 targets in Iran, a figure that reflects overwhelming power."
He continued, "Iranian attacks on our forces have decreased by 90%. We have damaged more than 120 Iranian ships. And the main industry in Iran is based on terrorist arms sponsored by the state."
The US Secretary of War concluded his statements by saying, "The world, the Middle East, and our non-cooperating allies in Europe should thank President Trump, as we are winning on our terms and according to our goals. We aim to destroy missile platforms and Iran's industrial base and prevent it from possessing a nuclear weapon."
Meanwhile, the Chief of Staff of the US Military, Dan Kien, said, "We have begun to enter Iranian airspace more deeply, and the Central Command is working according to the plan to achieve the military operation's goals in Iran."
He added, "We have dropped bunker-busting bombs to destroy Iranian anti-ship cruise missiles, and A-10 fighters have entered the southern airspace of Iran. Apache helicopters are attacking Iranian-backed militias in Iraq."
He continued, "We have begun using hypersonic munitions that are dropped directly above the target. We are currently working on targeting and destroying the fast attack boats in the Strait of Hormuz."
Israel with continuation
For its part, Israel suggests that the war on Iran and Lebanon will continue for several more weeks, and the Israeli newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported today from sources that participated in last night's meeting of the mini security cabinet, "the cabinet," that "the assessment that was heard is that the war will continue for several more weeks."
The cabinet meetings are only held with the participation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and on more than one occasion, Netanyahu has tried, in vain, to incite Iranians to protest in the streets against the war on their country, hoping to overthrow the ruling regime.
Since February 28, the United States and Israel have launched attacks on Iran, killing at least 1,332 people, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, in addition to more than 18,000 wounded.
In response, Tehran has launched missiles and drones towards Israel, resulting in the death of at least 16 people and injuring 3,924, in addition to attacks that killed 13 US military personnel and injured 200. It also carries out attacks on multiple sites and facilities in Gulf countries, which considered these attacks a direct threat to their security.
