Official Reveals Number of US Troops Injured Since the Start of the War on Iran

Khaberni - An American official -for the "NBC" network- revealed that more than 200 American soldiers have been injured since the start of the American-Israeli war on Iran, as the confrontation enters its third week.

The American network reported from the informed official that more than 180 of the injured soldiers have recovered and have already returned to their military duties, while 9 soldiers are still suffering from serious injuries, following initial estimates by Reuters which reported about 10 serious injuries.

Since the outbreak of the conflict on February 28, 13 American soldiers have been killed due to Iranian strikes targeting American interests and military bases.

Drone Weapons
On the front of technical military losses, an American official told Reuters -speaking on condition of anonymity- that about 12 MQ-9 Reaper drones were destroyed during the course of this war.

The "Reaper" drone -which entered service with the US Air Force 16 years ago- is one of the most important unmanned aircraft in the American arsenal, capable of flying at altitudes of up to 50,000 feet for more than 27 consecutive hours.

These drones -equipped with advanced cameras, sensors, and radars- are used in intelligence gathering missions, in addition to the ability to be equipped with "air-to-ground" missiles for precise strikes.

The American-Israeli war on Iran enters its third week, leaving at least two thousand dead, with no end in sight.

The spark of this conflict ignited on February 28, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of people including the Iranian leader Ali Khamenei who was killed at the start of the war, along with a number of security officials.

In response, Tehran continues to launch missile and drone strikes towards Israel, as well as targeting what it claims are "American sites and interests" in Arab countries, yet some attacks have killed and injured civilians and damaged civilian targets, prompting widespread condemnations from the targeted countries citing threats to their security and regional stability.
