During the calls, there was a consensus on rejecting the Iranian aggressions against the Arab states, which represent a serious escalation threatening the security and stability of the region.
During a phone call received by the Prime Minister from Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, both sides emphasized the need to intensify regional and international efforts to contain tensions and prevent the region from sliding into a broader conflict, while also warning of the dangers of exploiting the current circumstances to impose new realities in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, and the importance of protecting the Palestinian people.
Also, the Prime Minister discussed during a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam the serious deterioration of the situation in the region and the rejected and condemned Israeli assaults on Lebanon, affirming Jordan's support for Lebanon in these critical circumstances, and backing the efforts of the Lebanese government in maintaining Lebanon’s security and stability.
During a call received by the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Jafar Hassan from the Minister of Defense in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, both sides condemned the Iranian assaults that targeted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and a number of other fraternal Arab states, reaffirming their right to take necessary measures to preserve their security and stability.
There was also an emphasis on the need to halt the serious escalation in the region and to prioritize dialogue and resort to diplomatic and political channels to address crises in a manner that maintains the security and stability of the region and prevents the widening of tensions.
