Tourism Promotion Attracting 33 Saudi Influencers to Cover Several Areas in Jordan

Khaberni - Hani Dabbas, a member of the board of the Tourism Promotion Authority, said on Thursday that the authority had approved 33 Saudi influencers to cover several areas in Jordan for tourism, especially the entire northern regions.

Dabbas, who is also the Vice President of the Jordanian Hotel Association, said in a talk on the "Voice of the Kingdom" program that these influencers are followed by about 160 to 170 million followers, indicating that they visit Jordan without any financial compensation.

He pointed out that part of the logistical costs for these influencers is covered by the hotels.

Dabbas added that the Saudi influencers will arrive in Jordan in the coming days.

Regarding the "Our Jordan is Paradise" program, Dabbas said it has undergone development and added new fronts, as well as enabling the beneficiary to use their own vehicle.

He explained that about 16,000 people registered through the "Our Jordan is Paradise" program in approximately two weeks.

The "Our Jordan is Paradise" program, supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, is part of the government's efforts to stimulate the tourism sector and enhance domestic tourism, contributing to the support of local communities and stimulating economic activity in various areas.

The "Our Jordan is Paradise" application can be downloaded on smartphones to view program details, inquire about trips, and make reservations, or bookings can be made directly through the accredited tour offices within the program, or by visiting the program's website jannah.jo.

The program embodies the inclusiveness approach in stimulating the tourism sector, involving various components, including tourism and travel offices, the tourism transport sector, restaurants, hotels, campsites, tour guides, and shops selling oriental antiques, along with various tourist experiences, which positively reflects on expanding economic impact and enhancing local development throughout the kingdom.

Dabbas highlighted that facilities in Barqash Forests and Wadi Al-Naml have been upgraded to the highest standards to welcome visitors, noting that other sites are under study for development.
