The Guardian Trumps Decision to Strike Iran Will Depend on These Matters

Khaberni - President Donald Trump's decision on potential strikes against Iran will depend on the assessment of his special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner regarding Tehran's intentions about the nuclear deal.
The Guardian reported this, citing sources, and said: "Donald Trump's decision to order airstrikes on Iran will partly depend on the assessment by Trump’s special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, on whether Tehran is stalling in making a deal by giving up its nuclear capabilities."
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Witkoff and Kushner will travel to Geneva this week for a new round of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program.

Negotiations between Tehran and Washington regarding the Iranian nuclear file took place on February 17 at the headquarters of the Omani diplomatic mission in Geneva.

The Iranian delegation was led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, while the American delegation was led by the American special presidential envoy Steve Witkoff. Araghchi described the talks as constructive and serious, and said that the two sides laid down fundamental principles upon which their work in the framework of the agreement will be based.
