Khaberni - The events of the series "Saadat Al Majnoun" in the fourth episode titled "Who is the killer?" return to put the crime puzzle at the forefront once again, through a shocking "flashback" that reveals the moment Ous Sabri burns his car, in a scene that expands the circle of questions about his alleged "madness".
As suspicions escalate about Sara and the mystery of Atab, the threads of drama intertwine between crime, corruption, and the struggle for influence.
What happened in episode 4 of "Saadat Al Majnoun"
The episode begins with a pivotal visual recall from the past of Ous Sabri, played by Abed Fahd, where he is shown burning his car in a scene that poses new question marks about his old behavior and the limits of his alleged incapacity.
In the present, Ous continues managing his business in the market, using a deliberately comedic performance that suggests dysfunction, in an attempt to establish the image of the "safe madman" in front of traders and neighbors, while his actions seem to be part of a tight plan to lure those around him into his private circle.
During a session that gathers Ous’s daughters, Mariam played by Walaa Azam, and Sara portrayed by Dalaa Nader, with their cousins' children, Sara suffers a sudden ailment that ends with her fainting.
Suspicions begin about her psychological and health condition, while Mariam tries to recall details of the day their mother, the judge Saba Ezzat, was killed.
It reveals that Sara left their mother’s place then returned at a suspicious time, which puts her for the first time in the circle of suspicion and reopens the crime file from a different angle.
Atab, portrayed by Heba Nour, appears searching for her lost phone, which intersects her path with Ous in their first direct confrontation.
He offers her help and invites her to his office, where she sees the hanging incapacity certificate, but she does not seem fully convinced by the "madness" story.
However, the mystery deepens when it later becomes clear that her phone was not stolen at all, and that she discards the phone brought to her by Ous as soon as she leaves, raising questions about her real motives and her possible connection to the crime threads.
Corruption and the struggle for influence escalate
In a parallel dramatic line, Layla, portrayed by Sulafa Memar, agrees with an official to bring in shipments through smuggling in exchange for an agreed percentage, while suspicions are confirmed about Alaa, played by Tarek Murad, after his involvement in bribes for facilitating illegal services is revealed.
On the other hand, Ashraf Sabri, portrayed by Bassem Yakhour, seeks to secure a higher judicial position through his relations with the minister, amidst mutual caution and a tangled network of interests.
The episode reaches its climax in nocturnal scenes for Sara, where she sees in her dream a confrontation with her mother the judge, asking for "forgiveness" before firing the shot.
Awakened frightened, Mariam enters her in a moment of tension that deepens the suspicions about Sara’s memory and her possible role in the crime.
While the circle of accusation widens, Ous Sabri continues weaving his plans to lure those around him, setting the stage for more dangerous moves in the upcoming episodes.
