Macron in an unprecedented confession I made serious mistakes during my presidency

Khaberni - He spoke as never before, reviewing the harvest of two terms loaded with crises and challenges, admitting to «serious mistakes» which he attributed to «excessive confidence» in himself.

For the first time, French President Emmanuel Macron admits that he made "serious mistakes" on several occasions as a result of his excessive confidence in himself.

This came in an interview he conducted two days ago in India on the sidelines of his official visit to New Delhi, where he explained that these mistakes were particularly evident during his public speeches.

Macron mentioned during his meeting with the Indian platform "Bert India" that "whenever I felt too confident in myself, I made mistakes, serious mistakes".

He considered that "excessive confidence makes a person less sensitive to how others perceive his words, which can sometimes lead to misunderstandings and provoke negative reactions, according to the French television station "BFM".

The French President also spoke about his desire if he was in his twenties to develop his skills in art and creativity, and strive to create something unique that expresses his identity through dialogue with others.

Macron also touched on his interest in learning data science, a field that relies on scientific analysis and algorithms to process large amounts of data, but he acknowledged that he has not started yet.

In the same interview, he expressed his concern about the "lack of innocence" among today's youth due to the increasing pressures resulting from climate change, the decline in biodiversity, wars, lack of cooperation, and rapid technological transformations.

When asked about love in one minute, he described it as "something unexpected, it has no script, and it must be lived deeply," affirming that love is a personal and unique experience that cannot be compared to any other.

The French station considered that Macron's statements reflect a high self-awareness of the impact of his confidence on his decisions and public statements.

It pointed out that admitting mistakes, especially in a sensitive political and global context, reflects the ability to review personal performance and recognize the risks arising from excessive confidence, which is an important lesson for all leaders in how to balance assertiveness and humility.

The station also saw that the president highlighting the pressures on today's youth underscores the challenges of the modern era, wherein environmental, technological, and social crises affect their capabilities and creative energies.

His admission of a desire to develop new skills like data science reflects - according to the station - the importance of continuous learning and flexibility in facing future challenges, serving as an example that inspires the younger generations to focus on acquiring personal skills and abilities beyond external constraints.
