Jordan A Government Platform for Collecting Donations Aoun

Khaberni - Today, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship alongside the Ministry of Social Development launched the national platform for collecting donations "Aoun" in its beta version, preparing to start receiving donations through it starting from next Thursday, corresponding to the eighth of the holy month of Ramadan. This allows citizens to donate easily through available digital payment methods and enables them at this stage to explore the services of the platform and its usage mechanism.

The "Aoun" platform is a governmental digital platform designated for organizing and collecting donations for needy Jordanian families, under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Development and with technical support from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. It aims to enhance the efficiency of charitable work and ensure support reaches its rightful recipients transparently and reliably through an official and secure digital channel.

The platform provides an easy digital donation experience that allows individuals and companies to support the beneficiary families from anywhere and at any time through electronic payment methods and digital wallets available, which contributes to simplifying the donation procedures and expanding community participation. The platform acts as a digital linkage channel between donors, institutions, and officially registered and licensed charity organizations scattered across various provinces of the kingdom, which are responsible for delivering the donations to the deserving families, while the government platform's role is limited to organizing, tracking, and overseeing the process electronically within an efficient, transparent, and reliable mechanism.

In collaboration with institutions and charity organizations, the platform focuses on several fundamental support areas for needy families, including the distribution of food baskets to the neediest families, healthcare, provision of medicines and treatments, educational support, aiding needy students with school supplies and bags, childhood support through providing milk, diapers, and necessary care, and housing support including rent and home maintenance, along with providing clear information about campaigns and continuous updates on progress and results, enhancing transparency and trust.

The ministries confirmed that launching the platform in its beta version allows citizens to explore its features and services before the official reception of donations begins, and to receive feedback which contributes to its development and enhances user experience before fully operational expansion.
It is worth noting that the creation and development of the "Aoun" platform was fully funded by a donation from a leading Jordanian company, at no cost to the treasury, in a step that reflects the spirit of corporate social responsibility and supports the private sector's efforts in enhancing digital transformation and serving social and charitable work in the kingdom.

The ministries invite individuals and companies willing to donate to visit the national platform "Aoun" through the following link:
