Khaberni - The Ministry of Youth announced its institutional strategy for the years (2026–2030), which was approved yesterday, Monday, during a meeting of the Planning, Coordination, and Monitoring Committee.
According to a statement by the ministry today, Tuesday, the Director of Human Resources and Institutional Development at the ministry, Sahar Abu Hamour, confirmed that the strategy is based on the royal visions and guidance, which emphasized the importance of empowering youth, enhancing their participation in all fields of economic, political, and public life, and establishing principles of trust and accountability.
According to Abu Hamour, the strategy includes 5 main strategic objectives, notably: enhancing the role of the ministry, building an integrated national system for youth work, establishing youth participation as active partners in modernization pathways, enhancing justice in the distribution of opportunities across provinces, and improving institutional readiness in governance, digital transformation, and performance management.
She said that the strategy was prepared within a participatory methodology that included analyzing the national context, assessing institutional capabilities, engaging stakeholders, and forecasting the future, ensuring its alignment with the national economic and political modernization pathways, public sector modernization, and the sustainable development goals.
Abu Hamour explained that the next phase will involve preparing periodic and annual execution plans derived from the strategy, including clear performance indicators and mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation, to enhance transparency and accountability and ensure tangible and sustainable results for youth across various provinces of the kingdom.
