Zain a Strategic Partner for the Jordan National Baja Rally and the 3rd Wadi Al Qamar Rally

Khaberni  - As part of its ongoing strategic partnership with the Jordan Motorsport, and its commitment to supporting the sports and tourism sectors, which are vital within the kingdom, Zain Jordan provided sponsorship as a strategic partner for the Jordan National Baja Rally and the 3rd Wadi Al Qamar Rally, which were held from February 12 to 14 in the south of the kingdom.

The sponsorship by Zain Jordan for these significant sports and tourism events aligns with its strategy of supporting the major international sporting events hosted by the kingdom, contributing to establishing Jordan as a sports and tourism destination capable of organizing and hosting the largest events, alongside supporting sports, youth, and promoting tourism. This event marks the first of the year's activities in the Jordan Motorsport events calendar, which Zain is keen to partner and support annually.

The rallies were held across tracks stretching between the city of Aqaba and the Wadi Rum desert, in an event that combined sportive competition with the activation of tourism and economic movement, highlighting the natural and tourist attractions Jordan offers. The event saw wide participation from professional and amateur racers from Jordan and several countries, alongside a significant public turnout and extensive local, Arab, and international media coverage, as well as a notable digital presence across social media channels that documented the progress of the competitions and tourist sites, thereby enhancing the positive image of Jordan as a destination for adventure sports and event organization.

The Jordan Baja Rally and the 3rd Wadi Al Qamar Rally are among the most prominent sports events in Jordan, bringing together professionals and amateurs in intense competitions, reflecting the development of motorsports in the kingdom and the region in general. The Jordan National Baja Rally saw the participation of 14 racers, while the 3rd Wadi Al Qamar Rally witnessed the participation of 53 racers from Jordan and several countries, affirming the continuous development witnessed in the motorsports in the kingdom and its ability to attract varied participations on both local and international levels.
