Khaberni - Aqaba – Jordan Grasen Company, a leader in electric vehicle charging technologies, announced the launch of an advanced charging station at the Kia site in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone, in collaboration with Infinity Jordan, in a move that reflects Jordan's leadership in sustainable transportation and the push towards clean energy.
The station includes three fast chargers with capacities up to 150 and 180 kilowatts, equipped with advanced Grasen technologies that ensure energy efficiency, battery protection, and intelligent charging management, with an automatic shutdown system to enhance safety, making it an advanced model for electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the kingdom.
Engineer Waseem Al-Aqra'a, the Executive Director of Kia Jordan, explained that providing this station in collaboration with Grasen and Infinity Jordan reflects the partners' commitment to developing advanced infrastructure for electric charging, keeping pace with the rapid growth in the electric vehicle sector.
Rami Abu Youssef, the Executive Director at Infinity Jordan added that this partnership with Kia Jordan reflects our shared vision to expand an integrated charging network, offering smart and seamless solutions that support the adoption of electric vehicles and promote the transition to sustainable energy in the kingdom.
Infinity Jordan also provides an integrated charging experience through its smart application, which allows users to locate charging stations, monitor their availability immediately, and manage charging and electronic payments, within a fully self-service system, with an easy-to-use interface and a smooth experience that ensures efficiency and speed.
The project underscores Grasen's vital role in enhancing a smart and sustainable infrastructure for electric vehicle charging, and boosts Jordan’s position as a regional leader in sustainable transportation and clean energy.
