Signing a Cooperation Agreement between Amoun University College and the Jordanian Hotel Association to Enhance Tourism and Appl

Khaberni - In a step aimed at enhancing the partnership between the academic sector and the tourism sector, Amoun Applied University College signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Jordanian Hotel Association, in the presence of the college dean, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Bazazo, and the vice president of the association, Mr. Hani Al-Dabbas.

The agreement aims to develop specialized applied educational programs in the fields of tourism and hospitality, aligned with labor market needs, and contributing to the preparation of qualified personnel capable of supporting the tourism sector and enhancing its competitiveness.

Professor Dr. Ibrahim Bazazo confirmed that this agreement is in line with the policies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Accreditation Commission, and the college's commitment to providing quality applied education that meets market demands, highlighting the importance of cooperation with tourism sector institutions in developing curricula and practical training.

On his part, Mr. Hani Al-Dabbas emphasized the importance of this partnership in linking educational outcomes to the needs of the hotel sector, noting that the association pays great attention to supporting initiatives that contribute to the qualification of youth and enhancing their professional efficiency, which positively reflects on the quality of tourism services in the kingdom.

The agreement includes cooperation in the areas of practical training ending in employment, organizing joint programs, and exploring the creation of new specializations in tourism and hotel management and applied languages, enhancing employment opportunities and keeping pace with developments in the sector.

This collaboration is part of ongoing efforts to enhance integration between higher education institutions and the private sector, serving economic development and supporting the sustainability of the tourism sector in Jordan.
