Khaberni - The young man Islam, the victim in the assault incident in the village of Met Assem belonging to the Banha Center in Qalyubia Governorate, recounts the details of what he was subjected to in terms of assault and kidnapping at the hands of a girl's family he was emotionally involved with, demanding punishment for the accused and their trial.
Islam commented that he feels grateful to everyone who stood by him and helped him regain his rights, stressing that he felt a severe injustice after the incident, especially as he was accused of kidnapping the girl, before she confessed that she went to him on her own will. He added that the accused's uncle tried to defend him during the assault and pleaded with them to stop, but he was beaten and insulted.
He mentioned that he entrusted his affair to God after what happened, confirming that the truth emerged in the end, and that he is indebted to everyone who supported him during his ordeal, also demanding the maximum punishment to be imposed on the accused at the same time.
The details of the incident go back to a love story between the young man and the girl turning into a crisis after her family refused his marriage proposal to her, where several family members stormed Islam's home, assaulted him, then dragged him to a street in the village and forced him to wear women's clothes in an incident that caused widespread outrage among the locals.
The victim’s family confirmed that the incident caused severe psychological damage to their son, demanding legal retribution, while the public prosecution started investigations after apprehending 9 suspects based on the incident.
The relevant authorities continue to complete the investigations in preparation for taking the necessary legal actions, amid wide public attention in Qalyubia Governorate.
