Khaberni - In a special operation carried out by the personnel of the Public Institution for Food and Drug today, Thursday, dated 12/2/2026, and referring to the seizure of a quantity of powdered milk inside one of the dairy factories located in Amman – The Ten Bridges dated 9/2/2026, the quantity was officially secured and the tracking procedures were initiated.
Through the tracking procedures, it was revealed that the source of the milk comes from a company that imports it through the free zone in Zarqa, and then stores it in unlicensed warehouses in preparation for supplying it to dairy factories.
Immediately, field operations were moved to the unlicensed warehouse, where the quantities inside were seized and the warehouse was closed officially, the entire contents were detained totaling 22,125 kg, and work is ongoing to complete the necessary legal procedures and refer the concerned parties to the public prosecutor according to regulations.
