Khaberni - The electricity distribution company confirmed on Friday that emergency teams immediately responded to the power outage in the northern Jordan Valley areas, indicating that the number of affected subscribers reached about 5000. The technical staff began their work from the first moment to restore the service as quickly as possible.
The company clarified that electric power was restored to about 90% of the affected subscribers within a short period, and the remaining subscribers in lower and upper Mukheiba are still outstanding due to the need for additional technical work to ensure network stability and the safety of electric supply, confirming that work is currently underway to open the road leading to these areas using bulldozers to enable technical teams to access and address the fault.
It was noted that the emergency teams continue their field work to complete the restoration of power to the remaining affected areas, expecting the work to be completed and the service fully restored within about two hours, affirming their ongoing readiness to deal with any emergency and ensure the continuity of electrical service to subscribers.
Rocket debris fell in an uninhabited area in the northern Jordan Valley, which led to the power outage in several areas.
