Khaberni - A responsible source in the energy sector declared that the natural gas pumping from the Leviathan field in the Eastern Mediterranean towards Jordan has resumed this morning, expecting the quantities to gradually return to their usual rates during the coming period.
The source explained to the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) today that the concerned parties are continuously monitoring the gas flows, to ensure regular supply to the power generation stations and stability of the operational processes.
He also pointed out that the continuity of the gas flow remains linked to regional developments, confirming that Jordan is dealing with various operational scenarios with high efficiency, through diversifying energy sources and enhancing the readiness of the electrical system to ensure supply security.
