Egypt Death of 3 children due to phone charger

Khaberni - A tragic accident occurred in Giza, Egypt, resulting in the death of 3 sibling children in a massive fire that consumed their entire apartment, while 3 others were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Ministry of Interior received a report about a huge fire inside a residential apartment, trapping several children inside.

The examination by forensic experts revealed that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit stemming from a mobile phone charger.

The inspection revealed that the fire broke out on the first floor of the building and spread to the second floor, while civil defense teams managed to control the flames after intense efforts, but the contents of the two apartments turned into ashes.

The fire resulted in the deaths of the sibling children: Layla Mohamed Ahmed (8 years old), Zain (5 years old), and Younis (3 years old), while 3 others were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Public Prosecution's investigations clarified that the children's mother had left them inside the apartment and went out to buy some necessities, but she was shocked by the flames that took the lives of her three children.
