Capital Bank supports specialized training workshop in collaboration with Edraak platform

Khaberni  -  Capital Bank announced its support for a specialized training workshop organized by Edraak for Training and Community Development (Edraak platform) - the leading platform in the field of open Arabic-language online education for students specializing in "Skills Financial Basics", as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing financial culture and enabling Jordanian youth to enter the job market with higher efficiency and readiness, in line with its community responsibility initiative "Dir Malik".

The workshop was held over three days with the participation of 50 outstanding students in the program, focusing on practical applied aspects that enhance participants' ability to understand basic financial concepts and connect them with job market requirements.

This workshop is part of the partnership with platform Edraak, through which the bank provided support necessary for developing and launching the specialization in "Skills Financial Basics", aiming to equip youth with practical knowledge and skills in sound financial planning, understanding investment mechanisms, through integrated educational content combining theoretical and practical application, enabling them to make conscious financial decisions and manage their projects effectively.

In her comments on this initiative, the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Capital Bank, Tulin Barta, expressed the bank's pride in collaborating with the Edraak platform, noting that this training workshop, which represents the advanced application level of the program falling under the "Dir Malik" financial culture umbrella, explained that financial literacy constitutes one of the main axes in the bank's strategy to empower youth, based on its conviction that investing in skills and knowledge is a direct investment in the future of young people.

David Lazaro, the director of Edraak platform, expressed his pride in this collaboration with Capital Bank, confirming that this partnership has contributed to the development of a quality training program, which is one of the unique initiatives in the field of financial education, reflecting the importance of integration between the banking and educational sectors in preparing young people capable of keeping up with the changing job market requirements.

It is worth noting that the specialization in "Skills Financial Basics" supported by Capital Bank has gained wide resonance since its launch in October 2025, with 38,951 learners enrolled by the end of 2025. The program data showed a notable gender balance, with 53% females and 48% males, alongside geographic diversity led by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, reflecting the success of Capital Bank and Edraak platform in providing equal and comprehensive learning opportunities for everyone.
