Khaberni - Artist Munther Riyahneh commented on the Actors' Guild decision to suspend his series "Rouh Off", affirming that success goes through difficult moments and other easy ones.
Riyahneh posted a message on his official Facebook account saying, "Success is a journey between hardship and ease, so thank God for the days you have overcome, and also for those that still offer you light."
Producer Bilal Sabri has made statements in response to the uproar caused by the series' suspension, confirming that he did not gloat over anyone, and that he understands the presence of some negative comments. Sabri added in a video posted on Facebook: "If a series of mine is stopped, it's natural, and what matters to me is to continue producing other works."
The Actors' Guild, chaired by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, decided to completely stop airing the series "Rouh Off" during the Ramadan drama of 2026, after several notices and warnings to the producer to comply with the regulations and laws governing artistic work.
The union clarified that the recent violations included the appearance of producer Bilal Sabri in a widely circulated video clip with the blogger "Umm Jasser" during a contract agreement with her, which constitutes a clear violation of the laws prohibiting dealings with those not registered in the union's tables without the necessary legal permits.
