Students complain about the difficulty of the comprehensive exam and the presence of questions outside the curriculum

Khaberni – Abdullah Marqa

A number of college students expressed their dissatisfaction with the difficulty of the last comprehensive exam, confirming that some questions included topics that were not taught in the approved educational plan.

A group of students told "Khaberni" that "the first paper was very difficult, and we found questions outside the curriculum, such as questions from a book used in the bachelor's stage," adding that teachers advised the students to submit objections.

The students confirmed that the second paper was more difficult than the first, especially in subjects like communication in English, health and safety, and entrepreneurship, pointing out that some questions were of a higher level, and that commercial research questions were not included in the prescribed book, in addition to the presence of English terms not included in the book.

The students pointed out that the officials responsible for writing the questions justified this by saying that these matters are "obvious and students should be familiar with them," which the students regarded as unfair, especially in subjects like citizenship which includes 8 books, while only one topic was explained in the college.

They continued: Most of the students faced great difficulty in solving the questions, and they are still waiting for the third paper specific to the specialization tomorrow.

The students are demanding the relevant authorities to clarify the mechanism for submitting objections to the comprehensive exam, to ensure the principles of justice and equal opportunity for all students.
