Jordan Complaints about electric vehicles sold in dutyfree below specifications

Khaberni – Special
Citizens filed complaints to the relevant authorities after purchasing electric vehicles of the same type, only to find out after acquisition that they were unfit to be driven on the streets as they were below specifications.
Details accessed by Khaberni show that citizens bought vehicles for 18,000 dinars each from a dealer in the duty-free area with the expectation that they could travel 400-450 km per charge, only to discover that they could not travel more than 200 km after acquisition.
The problem did not stop there, according to the complaints, but also included frequent technical failures and inefficiencies of the maintenance center or its staff in repairing these recurring issues.
According to market experts, these vehicles are test vehicles (Test Vehicles), not recognized by the manufacturing company and unsuitable for commercial use.
Such vehicles, according to the same experts, serve as prototypes or modified cars used by car manufacturers for testing and assessing performance, safety, and durability before commercial production, on closed tracks, dynamometer rigs, or real roads to simulate real-world conditions, and measure fuel consumption, emissions, and advanced systems (ADAS) to ensure their reliability, and they are unfit for street driving.
