Khaberni - Engineer Qamar Al-Nablusi, a member of the Amman Secretariat Council, told "Khaberni" that our water company did not provide any clarification on how to sterilize the water, despite receiving advice on using Hypex without specifying the exact method of application.
She explained that the odor emanating from the water in Shmeisani neighborhood indicates contamination with sewage water, criticizing the management of the issue and the company's lack of transparency with citizens.
Al-Nablusi praised the field workers but expressed her concern about the possibility of diseases affecting some citizens, wondering who would bear the responsibility if that occurred.
She pointed out that citizens discovered the poor quality of the water themselves, and not through the company, despite paying their water bills and buying additional water tanks amidst economic difficulties, questioning the possibility of compensation for this mistake.
Al-Nablusi confirmed that she is following up on the case she brought against the company, indicating that the problem has not been fully resolved, and that water has not yet reached the citizens, despite the correctness of the method used in cleaning the tanks.
