It is expected that the veteran striker will leave Barcelona after his current contract ends next summer, amid speculations that the Spanish giant wants to sign a new striker.
The question remains whether Barcelona has enough money to complete the deal, but so far, Barcelona's management has not completely shut the door on the possibility of keeping Lewandowski, however, they would require him to significantly reduce his salary and accept playing as a substitute.
Recently, Anna Lewandowski, Lewandowski's partner, revealed that she believes this "might be his last year in Barcelona." There have been many rumors about Barcelona's keen interest in signing a top-tier striker this summer, and this wouldn’t be the first time that the promise of signing a big player has been used in club presidential elections to gain votes.
