Jordan Referral of 25 Violating Practitioners to the Public Prosecutor

Khaberni - The Dentists' Syndicate has referred 25 files of illegitimate practitioners, among them individuals who impersonated dentists without obtaining legal permits, to the public prosecutor, according to the statements made by the Head of the Dentists Syndicate, Aya Al-Asmar.

Al-Asmar stated in remarks to the "Kingdom" satellite channel on Tuesday, that the syndicate has decided to take legal actions against those impersonating dentists, confirming that these individuals pose a threat to the security and safety of citizens.

Al-Asmar explained that the syndicate formed more than 150 investigative committees regarding violating doctors, and transferred 36 of them to disciplinary councils. Additionally, 80 dental clinics and centers were fined and shut down for not adhering to applicable laws, this being done in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

Al-Asmar pointed out that the infiltrators in the dental profession are those who do not have a license to practice the profession or an accredited certificate in this field, which poses a risk to citizen health.

She added that among those impersonators are investors looking to achieve profitable gains, alongside dental assistants and technicians, as well as doctors who lack the necessary permits to practice the profession.

Furthermore, the Head of the Dentists Syndicate confirmed that the syndicate is seriously working on settling all demands related to the solidarity fund, expecting this settlement to be completed by the end of 2025.

The syndicate continues its efforts to protect citizens and maintain their health safety by enforcing the laws and penalizing violators, to ensure the provision of high-quality and safe medical services.
